Fairy Floss Rustic Cotton Candy Instructions | Broken Glass Candy
Cotton candy isn’t just to be enjoyed at carnivals and fairs, as you can easily make this delicious treat at home! Use this easy recipe to make both incredible cotton candy and its sweet cousin, broken glass candy. Kids and adults alike will love every sweet bite!

- Candy thermometer
Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon food coloring of your choice
- 3 teaspoons flavoring of your choice
Instructions
- Add food coloring of your choice and flavoring of your choice to a large glass bowl. When sugar mixture reaches 320 degrees, place in bowl with food coloring and flavoring. Mix.
- Dip implement in mixture and drizzle over the length of large sheet of wax paper.
- Do this continuously, forming the cotton candy. If mixture starts to set, place in microwave for 2 minutes and resume.
- To make broken glass candy, pour leftover mixture on wax paper. Allow it to set.
- Hit the broken glass candy to break it up.
