Cream Puff Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. butter
  • 1 C. flour
  • 1 C. water
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 pkgs. instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 C. milk divided
  • 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 8 oz. carton whipped topping
  • Chocolate syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Bring butter and 1 cup water to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and place in mixing bowl. Add flour.
  • Add eggs, beating after each.
  • Pour mixture into a baking pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Remove from oven and lightly press down.
  • Mix vanilla pudding packages and 2 3/4 cups milk.
  • Add an 8 ounce package of cream cheese that has been mixed with 1/4 cup milk.
  • Spread the mixture over the cooled crust.
  • Spread whipped topping over the pudding.
  • Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  • Chill and serve, store leftovers in the refrigerator.
