Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chocolate chip cookie mix in a mixing bowl.
Add 1/2 cup softened butter to mixing bowl.
Add 1 egg to mixing bowl. Mix until a soft dough is formed.
Spread dough evenly across 9 x 13″ pan.
Bake in oven for 10 minutes.
While mixture is baking, place large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add 24 unwrapped caramels to saucepan.
Add 14 oz can of sweetened, condensed milk. Heat until caramels and milk are melted together, stirring constantly.
Add 1 tablespoon butter to mixture. Remove crust from oven when timer goes off. Keep the oven heated.
Press 60 pretzel twists into dough, covering the entire surface.
Pour caramel mixture evenly over crust. Place pan in oven for 20 minutes, then remove.
Melt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave. Take a spoon and drizzle chocolate across the top. Serve and enjoy!
