Hobo Roasted Corn

Hobo Roasted Corn – an easy recipe to make over a campfire and a fun way to get kids to eat their vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Sweet corn still in the husks
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter to taste

Instructions

  • Carefully pull back the corn husks partway
  • Clean off the silk and rinse ears. You can salt lightly the corn, if desired.
  • Replace husk to cover kernels.
  • Place ears on a bed of hot coals or grill grate and cook for 12 to 20 minutes or until tender while rotating ears a quarter turning every 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Peel off the husk and spread kernels with butter to your taste and enjoy.
