Chocolate Cashew Macadamia Crunch
Make this Chocolate Cashew Macadamia Crunch for the holidays or a party. This tasty confection features chocolate and two types of nuts, making a great snack for any time of year!
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 3/4 cups salted or unsalted cashews, coarsely chopped
- 3/4 cups salted or unsalted macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
In a 9″ or 8″ square pan, line with foil and add 2 cups milk chocolate chips.
In a heavy skillet, add chopped cashews and macadamia nuts and 1/2 cup softened butter,.
Add 1/2 cup sugar.
Add 2 tablespoons corn syrup.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until butter and sugar is dissolved. Then increase heat to medium and continue to stir constantly until mixture begins to cling together and turn brown.
Pour mixture over chocolate chips in pan.
Spread over chocolate chips. Allow to cool completely.
Pull out tin foil and bang mixture on counter, cracking it into pieces. Serve and enjoy!
