BBQ Ribs for Two Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 lbs. baby back pork ribs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Dash of hot pepper sauce optional

Instructions

  • Take 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 lbs. baby back pork ribs and cut in half, making two portions. Set your slow cooker on high.
  • Place the ribs inside the slow cooker while you prepare the sauce. If you’re using a large slow cooker, consider placing the ribs in a casserole dish and then placing that in the cooker.
  • Cover the slow cooker.
  • Dice 1/4 cup onion.
  • Place onion in mixing bowl.
  • Add 1/2 ketchup to onion.
  • Add 1/4 cup chili powder.
  • Add 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
  • Add 1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar.
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano.
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
  • If desired, add a few drops of hot sauce.
  • Mix ingredients.
  • Remove cover and add sauce to ribs.
  • Reduce heat to low and cook for 7 to 9 hours. Serve
