Apple Bread Waffles

It looks like a waffle, but it’s not! This is a fun and clever way to put a different spin on homemade apple bread. It still has the same delicious flavor, but with a crispier texture. And heck, it’s just plain fun. More on that later.
Golden Delicious apples were used for this recipe, but of course, you can use another type if you'd like. Just get on over to your local grocery store and pick up a couple of whatever you're using. Better yet, take advantage of apple season and head to an orchard or a roadside market instead. While you’re there, pick up some of your favorite apple varieties, and grab a variety you’ve never tasted—you might just end up with a new favorite.
