Lemon Pudding Dessert

Do you have a little man or a little princess that you would love to cook with? Rada Cutlery makes it easy for you! Here’s a recipe that you can make with your little helper with specific tasks for the both of you.

  • 1 c. cold butter
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton whipped topping, thawed
  • 3 c. cold milk
  • 2 (3.4 oz.) pkgs. instant lemon pudding mix

  • Follow these steps and work together to complete the recipe. Mommy will complete some tasks and her little helper will complete others.
  • Mommy: Cut butter into flour until crumbly.
  • Little Helper: Press flour and butter mixture with fingers into an ungreased 9″ x 13″ pan. Make sure those hands are clean!
  • Mommy: Bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes or until set. Cool. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth in a mixer.
  • Little Helper: Fold 1 cup whipped topping into the mixture. A whisk or a spatula works good for this step.
  • Mommy: Spread mixture over crust.
  • Little Helper: With a whisk or Rada Handi-Stir, whisk together the lemon pudding mix and milk for 3 to 5 minutes. If your hands get tired, feel free to pass on to Mommy.
  • Mommy: Carefully spread the lemon mixture over the cream cheese mixture.
  • Little Helper: Help Mommy top your pan of bars with remaining whipped topping. Chill until ready to serve.
