Candy Bar Stuffs Recipe

Which do you prefer, cookies or candy bars? Here, that’s a trick question, because you can have both at once! These incredible Candy Bar Stuffs puts a crunchy, peanut-buttery Butterfinger inside a golden brown shell and tops it with heavenly Buttercream Frosting. You’ll have to search high and low to find someone who doesn’t love this!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 C. butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 C. flour
  • 1 C. brown sugar
  • 1/2 t. baking soda
  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • 36 bite-sized Butterfinger candy bars, extra for ganish, optional
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • Frosting, homemade or canned

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Coat a mini-muffin pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add 3/4 cup melted and cooled. Add 1 cup brown sugar.
  • Add 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Mix on medium speed.
  • Add 2 eggs. Beat until well combined.
  • Combine 2 cups flour and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Gradually add to mixer on low.
  • Divide batter into slots on muffin-pan. Batter should fill approximately half of each slot.
  • Put Butterfinger bars in center of batter, pushing approximately halfway in.
  • Place in preheated 325 oven for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from heat. Place frosting, homemade or store bought, onto top of cookies.

Notes

Optionally, chop more Butterfinger bars into small pieces and sprinkle over frosting as a garnish. The Rada French Chef knife is ideal for serious chopping, such as that required to break up the Butterfingers.
