Many Rada Cutlery customers grew up with our knives being used in their homes or their grandparents’ homes.

Our knife company started back in 1948 selling only three knives – the Slicer, Steak / Utility and Regular Paring. The sharp blades was the feature that people loved but it was the silver brushed aluminum handle that made them visually recognizable. Often people simply referred to Rada Cutlery as “the silver handle knives” and that remains true today.

Rada Cutlery’s product line has grown a bit since 1948 and we now have a full assortment of kitchen knives but also cooking utensils and cutlery gift sets. In addition, customers can select from our cookbooks, quick mixes, and stoneware as well. Another change is that we also now offer a second handle style for the knives and utensils – the black stainless steel resin handle.

All of the products that we manufacture have always been 100% Made in the USA. Our factory is located in Waverly, Iowa and we have sold over 132,000,000 pieces of cutlery in our 64 years in business.
