What Makes These Sandwiches Special?

Two meats. Two cheeses. Simple but delicious seasonings. Buttery goodness. Baked to perfection.

Sliders are perfect for get-togethers. They’re all made together in a baking pan, sort of like making one big sandwich. To cut all the buns at once, grab a knife with a long serrated blade, like Rada’s Serrated Slicer.

These sliders are easy to make and feed a group. Need more? Just double the recipe.

Ingredients Needed

  • Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls

  • Pork sausage
  • Salami
  • Black olives
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Butter
  • Parmesan cheese

Can I Change the Ingredients?

Of course! This recipe is totally customizable. So if you don’t like olives, leave them out or replace with mushrooms or bell peppers (Rada has the perfect knives for slicing everything!).

Sausage & Salami Sliders

INGREDIENTS (Makes 12)

1 (12 ct.) pkg. Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls
Pizza sauce
½ lb. sage-flavored pork sausage, browned & drained
¼ lb. sliced salami
½ C. sliced black olives
2 C. shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ C. melted butter
2 T. grated Parmesan cheese
1 T. chopped fresh parsley
¾ tsp. gralic powder
½ tsp. dried oregano
Black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a 7×11″ baking pan with foil and spritz with cooking spray. Slide the buns out of their package, slice them horizontally as a single unit, and lay the bottoms together in the lined pan; set tops aside (don’t separate).

Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the rolls in the pan. Top evenly with the sausage, salami, olives, and mozzarella. Place the set-aside tops over the fillings.

In a small bowl, whisk together the butter, Parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper. Brush half the mixture over the dinner rolls.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the fillings are hot and melty, cover with foil if the buns are getting too dark.

Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining butter mixture. Cut to separate into individual sliders before serving.
