Hi, Kristy in the Rada kitchen, and today I wanted to share a recipe that uses the Rada Quick Mix Jalapeno CheeseBall. It makes more than just cheeseballs, you can make a lot of dishes with it, and today we’re making Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread. The ingredients are really simple, you just need milk, corn, egg, and corn muffin mix.

In a large mixing bowl we’re going to add the cheeseball mix and the topping. To this we’re going to add a cup of thawed frozen corn. One whole egg. Two third cups of milk and that box of corn muffin mix. Blend it. To stir this, I’m using the Rada Serverspoon. It has 50 uses! You can serve like with a spatula, and you can stir Jell-O’s and puddings, you can strain stuff. They’re also available as a fundraising option if you have a youth group or team. You can make a 40% profit selling Rada products, and that would include this Jalapeno Cheeseball Mix, too.

So now we have this well blended and we’re going to pour it into an 8 x 8 baking dish. I’m going to use the Rada stoneware. If you’re not using the Rada stoneware you’re going to want to spray it with a nonstick baking spray. But with these you don’t have to because they’re already pre-seasoned. I preheated the oven to 375 and we’re going to bake this for 30 to 35 minutes.

So I just took the Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread out of the oven. It’s nice and golden brown. If you really want to test for doneness, just insert a knife in the middle, and if the knife comes out clean it’s done. You serve it hot. And now with the Serverspoon you can also place it on the plate.

So our hot Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread is ready to serve. It would be great with some barbecued ribs. It’s one of the recipes using the Rada Quick Mix Jalapeno Cheeseball Mix.
