Mozzarella Cheese Sticks Video Recipe

Mozzarella Cheese Sticks Video Transcript

Hi, Kristy in the Rada kitchen, and today we’re making Mozzarella Cheese Sticks. We’re going to fry them in a pan just like you buy at a restaurant, but they’re going to be better, because these are homemade. What you need are 9 sticks of string cheese. We’re going to cut those in half. And this Rada Slicer makes that really easy. Then when we’re done cooking them we’re going to use the Rada Marinara Quick Mix. You make it up fresh, it’s really good.

So next we need 2 eggs. We’re just going to lightly beat those. Then in a shallow dish you’ll need a cup of fine cracker crumbs. You’re going to dip the string cheese in the egg and with your dry hand roll it in the cracker crumbs. So the wet hand goes in the egg, the dry hand in the crumbs. So now in a skillet you’ll need 3 tablespoons of olive oil and go to the stove and pan fry these up.

So over medium-high heat, we’re going to heat up 3 tablespoons of olive oil, then we’re going to add our mozzarella sticks. Then we’re going to cook these until they’re golden brown. Then you want to turn them as they’re cooking. It’s best if your oil is really hot to help them maintain that round, cheese stick shape. If you cook them too long they’ll melt and turn into blobs.

Once the cheese sticks are golden brown remove them and let them drain on a plate covered by a paper towel. Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, best served with the Rada Marinara Quick Mix. Look for this recipe and more at our website. It’s also a great fundraiser! You can get a free catalog by going to www.radacutlery.com.
