Carnitas Pizza Video Transcript

Hi, Kristy in the Rada kitchen, I’m using some carnitas that I made. We were done with tacos and burritos and I was trying to think of something good to make with carnitas so I came up with Carnitas Pizza.

So on a Rada Pizza Stone I have my homemade dough. Click her to find the recipe for that. I baked it for about 5 to 10 minutes to give it a nice crust. Now I’m going to use the Rada Salsa, I did mix it with fresh tomatoes, or you can use canned tomatoes. The Salsa has all the jalapenos and onions and is delicious. You can use it on tacos or tortilla chips and it’s really good. So next I’m going to put on this leftover carnitas pork. It was a little greasy, so I did get some of the grease out because I didn’t want my pizza to be greasy. We’re just going to shred that over the top. You can use salsa verde too or pizza sauce if you want.

I’m going to add some sliced up red bell pepper. I’m slicing this up with our popular Tomato Slicer. It’s not just for tomatoes, it easily cuts through peppers and onions. If you want to do the extra work you can roast the peppers with some onions and jalapenos. If you want you can chop up some jalapenos, I’m just going to put a tiny bit on there. You have to be careful of the seeds, those are the hottest. Most Mexican dishes use green onion, so I’m going to cut those up, get some greens in there. It adds nice color and flavor.

Last thing, mozzarella cheese. You could use Monterey Jack or whatever you desire. I think it will be good no matter what you use. You want your oven preheated to 425 and this is going to take about 20 minutes. I look at it for about 12 minutes in case I have to turn it.

My Carnitas Pizza is done. I’m going to cut up some cilantro for the pizza to add flavor. This Pizza Cutter doesn’t just cut pizza, it cuts herbs and homemade noodles.

Now you cut the pizza to serve. Your delicious Carnitas Pizza is ready to eat. Subscribe to our channel for more videos of great recipes!
