Breakfast on a Stick ingredients

Ingredients for Breakfast on a Stick:

  • 1 cup of biscuit baking mix
  • 1 Tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/3 Cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 (14 oz.) pkg. precooked smoked sausage ring
  • Maple syrup to taste
  • Sticks
  • Knife
  • Mixing spoon

Directions:

In a large bowl, stir together baking mix, sugar, milk, egg and vanilla until well blended.

Cut the sausage into seven equal pieces.

Pierce a stick or skewer through one end of sausage piece and out the other.

Dip sausage in the biscuit batter until thoroughly coated.

Cook close to embers turning until golden brown and sausage is heated through.

Serve with maple syrup to your taste and enjoy.
