The Rada Knife Sharpener is great for hunting and fishing, and works great with our unbeatable outdoorsman knives. A Rada user from Texas said:
“This knife sharpener is AWESOME. You sharpen it before you get ready to skin, and when it gets dull, you wash the blade off and dry it and take the knife blade through the sharpener 3 or 4 times. It comes out razor sharp and ready to go. When you buy this sharpener, all the other sharpeners you had will be feeling left out without you using them because this sharpener is OUTSTANDING.”
An Amazon reviewer appreciated how the Knife Sharpener kept his fishing knives at their sharpest:
“This knife sharpener is unsurpassed! I needed a good sharpener for my fillet knife and this is the best I’ve ever used. I fish for salmon and there’s nothing worse than a dull fillet knife when it comes time to clean the salmon. This is the perfect gift for your fishing friends.”
How to Use It
In the video below, Chef Jere demonstrates how simple and easy the Rada Knife Sharpener is to use. Simply put the back of the knife in between the wheels and slide the blade backwards. Repeat this process four to six times until knife is sharp. It’s that easy!

Beginning of Knife Sharpener Video Transcript:
Today we are going to demonstrate how to sharpen your Rada Knives with the Rada Knife Sharpener. In the restaurant business we use to use a three sided stone. It was very difficult to sharpen a knife. You had to start with the course and move to the fine. Then we actually had what was called a still which would chew the edge.
The Rada knife sharpener works very well. It sharpens in my opinion better than a restaurant knife sharpener. Very easy to use. First thing you want to do is get a damp wash cloth, put it on your surface. This will keep your sharpener from slipping. Place the knife sharpener on the damp cloth.
Place about three fingers on the knife sharpener and you want to start at the end of the knife, the butt of the knife. Slowly run it through with slight pressure. You need to do this about four to six times. Running it through the wills and this will sharpen your knife as good as it was from the factory. Always be sure to wipe off your knife in case there is any kind of metal shavings from sharpening the knife.
