Welcome to Rada’s kitchen, my name is Kristy and today I’m going to show you how to make Apple Nachos. A slightly healthier version of regular nachos. They’re so good, kids will love them, and they make a great after school snack. I picked some apples off the tree. They’re not very shiny but all you have to do is wash them to get a good shine on those. How you pick a good apple at the store is you look for shiny apples. They dull as they age so shiny apples are the freshest.

So for our Apple Nachos I’m going to slice up 3 or 4 apples. I usually figure about 1 apple per person. You have a nice size apple, I’m going to use this Rada Serrated Paring Knife. It stays sharp so you don’t have to sharpen it. I’m just going to slice the apples onto a serving tray. Not too thin, because you want to be able to pick them up off the tray. You can sell this knife as part of a fundraiser for school functions. They make cutlery, cookbooks, stoneware, and you make a 40% profit. They’re easy to sell because everyone can use a good kitchen tool.

I like to brush these with some lemon juice. Slightly brush with lemon juice to keep from turning brown. Now I’m going to take 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds. So now with our warmed up peanut butter we’re just going to drizzle that. You can use Nutella, too. That would work well. Just let your imagination run wild. I’m going to sprinkle some coconut and almonds on there. Add some chocolate chips and pecans and then I have this caramel ice cream topping.

Now the Apple Nachos are ready to serve. They’re delicious and a little bit healthy, too. Watch for more of my videos at our YouTube channel!
