Super Bowl Sub Sandwich
Video Transcript:
Hi, I’m Kristi and today I would like to share a recipe with you. It is an oven sub sandwich. Make it the day of the game put it in thirty minutes before half time and you have a hot meal ready to go. First you need a loaf of French bread. You want to butter sides, butter or margarine.
Alright, once you have both sides buttered you are ready to assemble. First you will need three fourths of a pound of sliced roast beef. Then you will need three quarters of a pound of sliced ham and then three quarters of a pound of Swiss cheese. Then you are going to put the top back on. Is that a man sandwich or what?
Now you are going to take heavy duty foil and you are going to kind of fold it around there. Alright with the tin foil make a little boat and we are going to put some extra good sauce on it. You are going to take one stick of butter or margarine melted.
To that you are going to add half a teaspoon of lemon juice, half a teaspoon of dry mustard, half a teaspoon of garlic salt, a half of teaspoon of poppy seeds, and a tablespoon of minced onion. Mix that all in. Now you are going to take another piece of tin foil and put that on top of that. Put it into a preheated 350 degree oven for about thirty minutes.
