Spinach and Artichoke Dip Recipe

Spinach and Artichoke Dip Video Transcript

Hi, Kristy in the Rada kitchen. Today I’m sharing a recipe out of our Party Snacks to Share Cookbook. It’s Spinach and Artichoke dip. It’s a slow cooker dip that you can mix up before you go to the party. And who doesn’t live spinach and artichoke dip just like in the restaurant. I’m going to use our Quick Mix Alfredo Sauce for the sauce in this. It’s really simple, you make it in your little 1 and ½ quart slow cooker.

You need a 10 oz package frozen spinach. Thaw and drain it. Then you’ll need a 14 oz can of artichoke hearts. You’ll want to drain and chop these. I’m going to use this Rada Chef Dicer. Works really well on cutting up chicken wings or buffalo wings. It has that nice, large blade so it doesn’t take long to chop this up. And then you’ll add that to your slow cooker. I chopped these on the Rada Flexible Cutting Board, and I’m just going to give that a stir.

To this, you’ll add half a cup of Alfredo sauce that’s been prepared. This is the Rada Quick Mix Alfredo Sauce. You just cook it on the stove for a few minutes with 2 cups of water. It has that cheddar, Parmesan cheese flavor with some garlic. It’s really delicious. Then you’ll need half a cup of mayonnaise. A teaspoon of garlic salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper. Then a cup of shredded Swiss cheese. Once you have this all mixed well together we’re going to cover it and cook it on low for 2 to 4 hours.

So the spinach artichoke dip is ready to serve. I’m going to slice up this baguette. To slice a hard, crusty bread like this I like to use the Rada 6” Bread Slicer. It slices right through that crust and makes perfect slices every time. I’m ready to serve up my dip. That’s Spinach Artichoke Dip, delicious on baguettes. That’s one of the recipes in our Party Snacks to Share Cookbook that uses the Rada Quick Mix Alfredo Sauce.
