Hearty Ham and Bean Casserole Recipe
Ingredients you will need:
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 lb. large diced thick-cut ham
- 1 package Hearty Ham & Bean Soup Quick Mix
- 1 package corn muffin mix
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 large egg
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Dice 1 lb. thick-cut ham. Try the Rada Cook’s Knife, which makes cutting a breeze.
Add 3 cups water to saucepan.
Add 1 tablespoon corn starch to water. Stir until dissolved.
Stir in package Rada Hearty Ham and Bean Soup Quick Mix.
Bring to a boil, stirring often.
Add soup to an 8 x 8″ casserole dish.
Add the diced ham to the casserole dish.
Combine 1 package corn muffin mix, 1/3 cup milk, and 1 large egg.
Spread mixture over soup and ham. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

Hi, Kristy in the Rada kitchen, and today I’m making a recipe using another one of Rada Cutlery’s Quick Mixes. This one is Hearty Ham and Bean Soup, and we’re using it to make a Hearty Ham and Bean Casserole. First we’re going to need a pound of ham, and I’m going to dice this.
I’m going to use this Rada Cook’s Knife. As you can see, these knives are razor sharp. They’re hand sharpened, are 100% made in the USA, and come with a Lifetime Guarantee. In a saucepan, we’re going to combine 3 cups of water and a tablespoon of corn starch. We’re just going to blend that together and once that is dissolved we’re going to add our packet of Hearty Ham and Bean Rada Quick Mix. We’re going to bring this mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Meanwhile, you’ll want to have your oven preheating to 375 degrees.
Our mixture came to a boil and now we’re going to pour that into an 8 x 8” casserole dish. Now we’ll add our pound of diced ham. Now in a bowl we’re going to add our package of corn muffin mix, a third pound milk, and one egg. I’m just going to whip that together with this Rada Handi-stir. Once you have that combined then you’ll pour that over the top of our soup and ham mixture. And now it’s ready to place in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Once it’s finished you’ll want to let it sit for 10 minutes.
