Grapefruits – Healthy Snack

Grapefruits are often thought of primarily as breakfast items but don’t overlook the possibility of enjoying a grapefruit for a healthy snack.
The health benefits of grapefruit include being low in calories, high in Vitamin A as well as rich in potassium.
Grapefruits can be peeled like an orange but more commonly are cut into two halves. At this point you have two choices.
- You can use a grapefruit spoon to scoop or separate the sections. This often is a cumbersome process with squirting juices and damaged fruit.
