Hot Pizza Dip Video Transcript

Hi, welcome to the Rada Cutlery kitchen. Today we’re going to make a recipe out of our best-selling recipe book 101 Recipes with Cream Cheese. Every recipe from appetizers to main dishes to salads to desserts use cream cheese. Today I’m going to make a hot pizza dip. It’s super easy, you make it in the microwave, it’s ready in minutes. It’s great for a Super Bowl Party, a slumber party, or just because it’s good with crackers or tortilla chips.

So I have an onion, we only need 2 tablespoons. I’m using this super-sharp Rada paring knife, it easily cuts that up really small. I don’t want someone to bite into a big chunk of onion. Then we just need 2 tablespoons of green pepper.

So now in a mixing bowl we’re going to take a softened 8 ounce package of cream cheese. We’re going to add a teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Once you have that mixed we’re going to spread that onto a 9” pie plate. It has to be microwave safe. I’m going to use this Rada stoneware which will keep that food hot longer, too. Then we’re going to use the Rada Super Spreader and just spread that across the bottom.

Now we’re going to combine a cup of mozzarella cheese and ¾’s cup parmesan cheese. We’re going to sprinkle half of this over that cream cheese. Then I have an 8 ounce can of pizza sauce. I’m going to pour that over the top of that cheese mixture. Then we’re going to come back with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Then we’re going to add the chopped up green pepper. And the chopped up onion.

Then I like these little mini-pepperonis. We’ll sprinkle those. We’re going to put that on high for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

Hot pizza dip. After you take it out of the microwave, let it sit for 1 or 2 minutes. It’s a great, gooey pizza dip that everyone will love.
