Mmm, if you love crab, you’ll go nuts for this dip! This dip is the perfect appetizer for parties with friends and family.

Ingredients you will need:

Baked Crab Dip Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 C. mayonnaise
  • 1 t. lemon juice
  • 4 green onions, sliced thin
  • 8 oz. crab meat (or imitation crab), chopped
  • 1 T. Cucumber Onion Dill Quick Mix

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Use French Chef knife to cut onions

Cut your onions using a French Chef Knife. This works great to cut the ends off. Use a rocking motion and leave the tip of the knife on your cutting board. Make your onion slices as thin or thick as you’d like.

Cut up the crab meat using the Plain Food Chopper

Use a Food Chopper to chop the crab meat. You can use this to chop onions, celery, just about anything. The one Kristy used is a plain edged one, but we also have a Serrated Food Chopper for chopping nuts or coarser foods.

Mix all ingredients in crab dip well

Combine all ingredients and mix well.

Cucumber Onion Dill Dip Video Transcript:

Hi, Kristy at the Rada Kitchen. Today I’m making a cucumber onion dill dressing for my salad. The ingredients you’ll need are the cucumber onion dill Rada Quick Mix dip, a half a cup of milk, 3/4 cup sour cream and 3/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing.

First we’ll add the cucumber onion dill dip to the milk. Stir that in. Then add the remaining ingredients: mayonnaise or salad dressing, and 3/4 cup sour cream.

I’m using the Rada Handi-Stir. It’s a wonderful tool to whip and stir, it’s probably my most used tool I have in the kitchen. So I’m going to put the dressing in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.

So while my creamy cucumber onion dill dressing is refrigerating, I’m going to add a tomato to my salad, and a neat trick is to use the Vegetable Peeler to take the core out of the tomato. So with this unique end, you’ll cut around the core, take it out, and then I’m going to take the Tomato Slicer. The serrated blade on this really cuts through the skin really easy so you don’t have to squash down while you’re cutting that tomato.

Add that to your salad. My dressing has been in the refrigerator for 15 minutes and it’s ready to serve. It’s the Cucumber Onion Dill dip. You can find this recipe at the end of the video or you can find all of our recipes at RadaQuickMixRecipes.com.

Baked Crab Dip Video Transcript:

Hi, Kristi at the Rada kitchen and today I am mixing up a Baked Crab Dip. We will use the Rada Quick Mix Cucumber Onion Dill Dip. The ingredients you will need 1/3rd cup of mayonnaise, an 8 oz package of cream cheese softened, a teaspoon of lemon juice, four green onions, 8 oz of crab meat or imitation crab meat, and a tablespoon of the cucumber onion dill dip.

So we need to slice our green onions really thin so I am going to use the French chefs’ knife. Cut the ends off and you are just going to go rocking motion. So by leaving the tip of the knife on the cutting board you can just make them as thin or thick as you want. We want ours really thin.

We will add that to a bowl. Now I am going to chop our crab meat and for that I am going to use the food chopper. You can use this to chop onions, celery. It is good to chop about anything, oiled potatoes. This is the plain edge one; we do have one that has a serrated edge. That would be more for chopping nuts and more coarse foods.

This is kind of fun to do. Even children can help do this part of it. And we will add that to our bowl. Now we are going to add the mayonnaise, the cream cheese, the lemon juice, and then our one tablespoon of our cucumber onion dill dip. Then you just mix it until it is well blended.

Now I am going to spread this into a two court baking dish. I am going to use the Rada Stone ware regular baker. So you want to spread this thinly on the bottom of the pan. This is a great dip to serve with chips or crackers. Now we are going to put this in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

I just took the baked crab dip out of the oven and it is ready to serve. It is great with crackers, chips, even vegetables. You can find this recipe and a lot more for our Rada quick mixes at www.radaquickmixrecipes.com.
