Church fundraisers have sold Rada Cutlery since 1948 when we only offered three knives!  Churches enjoy selling a practical, useful product that is Made in the USA, top quality and reasonably priced.  In fact, the church fund raisers allowed Rada Mfg. Co. to develop our model of fund raising groups working directly with the factory.

We now work with thousands of church fundraising groups each year.  Almost any Church group you can imagine has sold Rada Cutlery to fund their causes.  Some examples include:

  1. Women’s Circles
  2. Youth Group
  3. Missions
  4. Sunday School
  5. Choir
  6. Building Fund
  7. Church Camp
  8. Vacation Bible School
  9. Fall Dinners
  10. Church Bazaars

Church groups can choose either to sell from inventory or out of the catalog.

Churches who sell from inventory fall into two general categories – ongoing or special events.

The Church groups who sell ongoing will keep some inventory and set up a table to offer Rada Cutlery items after church one or two Sundays a month.  Often they will take orders for items that they don’t have in stock and place occasional orders once they have met the low $20 minimum order amount.

Special events is another way many Churches choose to raise money selling Rada Cutlery from inventory.  These include bazaars, soup suppers, fall dinners and craft shows.  The large amounts of traffic make these events an ideal time to add incremental fundraising profits.

Rada Mfg. Co. allows fundraising groups to return unsold merchandise up to 90 days after purchase.  This generous policy makes it feasible for many churches to sell from inventory at special events.

Church Fund Raising by selling from the catalog has steadily grown in popularity.  Supporters enjoy being able to look through the 32 page catalog and make their selections.

Often catalog fundraising is done over a 2 to 4 week period to help concentrate the efforts of the sellers.  After the order is placed, Rada Mfg. Co. will ship the product out within two working days.  Church fundraisers and supporters alike appreciate this quick turn around!

Similar to how there are many groups within the Church that choose to fundraise with Rada Cutlery, likewise about every denomination has chosed to do a Rada Cutlery Fund Raiser at one time or another.  A non-exhaustive list includes:

  • Baptist
  • Methodist
  • Lutheran
  • Presbyterian
  • Church of God
  • Church of Christ
  • Catholic
  • Brethren

We are told that in some towns after a church has sold Rada Cutlery for a number of years, it becomes known as the Methodist Knives or whatever denomination has been fundraising with them!
